Had our wedding here in July 2024 for 90 people, what a lovely setting. Married out on the lawn, marquee, canapes, reception and evening Pig Roast. Food was absolutely delicious. The staff were all very nice. Martin & Sue were the best hosts, nothing was too much trouble. We have had lots of great comments from family & friends, regarding the setting and how lovely everything was. I would highly recommend this place

We received a warm welcome from your delightful staff,despite my messing up the booking.They were all so patient with my elderly mum and responded to her funny comments.The meal was amazing.and.for me a change ( veggie).we will most definitely visit again

Visited the restaurant, a lovely barn conversion with fantastic views of the garden. From the table we could see a couple of horses that were in the adjacent field. All the food is freshly cooked to order, there is a polite notice of this on the menu to advise that the food might take some time. There was a large party of 12 seated, the chef came out to personally apologise for a longer than usual service. The food was exceptional, definitely worth the wait. As a party of 6, we had starters, mains and a dessert. The servers/waitresses were attentive and frequently asked if they could get us any drinks whilst we were waiting. The vegan options were fantastic. Added extra, there are a couple of friendly cats that frequent the car park - very cute!

Popped in for a Sunday lunch, blow away by the friendly staff and warm welcome. I had spiced chicken strips to start an a topside roast beef lunch. Without doubt the best Sunday lunch I've had! I didn't have room for a dessert as the portion size is plentiful. I can't recommend the food,service or ambience of this family run restaurant. Recommend booking in advance as a popular place.

We had the most delicious roast beef dinner ever here! The place is gorgeous, the garden is really lovely to sit out in when the weather's good and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We have booked an evening table for my birthday, can't wait

The restaurant was introduced by a friend. We would have never known about the restaurant otherwise. The restaurant is part of the farm building hidden down a small country lane, and from the outside, one would never expect to find a restaurant. Once inside, it was actually very welcoming and enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and professional in all aspects. The food was fresh, well prepared, and presented. The price for 6 people, including drinks, came under 200 which I thought was very reasonable. The bottom line is that it is a hidden gem.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful wake for my dad. The venue was perfect for us to celebrate his life. A beautiful quiet space with fantastic food and beautiful gardens to enjoy the sunshine. A perfect day. Thank you all so much, we couldn’t have been looked after any better.
